Kabul Korrespondence

Fresh, factual, and funky view of Afghanistan and the surrounding Central Asian region

Live from the south of France

Saturday, September 08, 2007

Bonjour,

This is a live post from Perpignan in the "South of France", where I and my good friend Zohreh (the best female Iranian Photojournalist) having been promoting Aina Photo at the world prestige reportage festival.

We spent he last week "networking" with the worlds top editors and agencies, informing them about the work we do in Afghanistan and about the "se manufique" images our students have been producing.

Its been tough, spending time in the sun, drinking rose and meeting amazing people, but hey someone has to do it!

So "excus e moi" for my absence from cyber-land, but i promise to report more as soon as I get back to Kabul. Until then, stay safe and enjoy.
